Some Techniques to Get Your Blog on Top of Google Rankings

Some search terms are way more competitive than others. Some search terms do not even exist until you create them. The variable here is the amount of competition inside the marketplace for that coveted top ten spot.

A long tail or keyword phrase like "pretty pink yellow dress" could be very easy to rank number one for, or even in the top ten results for your site alone. But the term "dress" may be incredibly hard to rank on the first ten pages of a Google search result.

There are a couple of things that you need to keep in mind that are universal. It doesn't really matter what kind of competition you have. What matters is how much time it will demand of you and how much you will commit to producing a good result for your website to appear in the first few pages of google.

Why is it important to be on the first page of a Google search result?

Being on the first page of Google is very lucrative. It can bring your company lots of traffic and lots of money too. So what you need to do is to look at Google as a venue to syndicate your website information to the whole online community. If you look at it that way, then you will understand the importance to rank high in Google Search Engine. That is why SEO agencies are rapidly increasing year after year. More and more companies want to rank high in search results.

One of the techniques that you need to do for your website to rank up is building great content. That means your website should have nice, informative and most of all, original content. If not, you could get penalized by Google and that would mean bad reputation in your marketplace. Search engines will not treat you kindly. You might loose the opportunity to get to the first ten results by Google.

Two, use your blog as a channel for syndication. Your blog is tool to get your message out. It simply helps you start the conversation to anyone that might be looking at you or what your company is all about. So you have to get it out there. Submit it to different blog directories and social bookmarking sites.

Third is to submit your RSS feeds to aggregators. There are tons of aggregators out there. If you are doing it well then you are garnering visits because of it. RSS is one simple way for people to get your content without really having to visit your website. It is a great app that should be maximized to get your message out.

Put your URL everywhere. If you are submitting articles on article submission sites, make sure that your URL is in it. It gives Google a way of seeing how naturally people are talking about you which makes a BIG difference in getting your blog to the top.
