  • If you already watched the whole video and then you decide to download it to your computer it will take double time becuase you already have spent time watching it and now have to spend time downloading it to your hardrive.
  • Moreover, the download speeds are very slow and its very irritating to download the whole video again.
But if you have already played the whole video on the site then there is no need to waste the time on downloading it again. We simply have to locate the cache folder of the browser as when the video is streamed it is automatically saved in the cache folder and just have to copy paste the video file from cache folder to your desired location in your computer.
Before reading this tutorial make sure that you have uncheck the hide files and folders box.If you dont know how to unhide files and folders Click Here

Also donot forget to replace USER_NAME to your windows username
For Windows Xp Users
In windows Xp the google chrome cache folder can be found at
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome
CASE 2:Mozilla Firefox

5 Tools To Escape The 140 Character Limit Anywhere

view-source:http://main.makeuseoflimited.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Share06.pngThe first text message was sent in 1992 and texting soon became a mass phenomenon. Subsequently, the magic number of 160 characters was adopted for other forms of communication and today we see similar character limits on micro blogging platforms like Twitter or Plurk. Twitter for example, reserves 20 characters for user names, hence bringing the limit down to 140 characters.

In the age of information overflow and short attention spans, the limit is a blessing because it forces brevity. On the other hand, a lot of information is lost. Fortunately, there are ways to escape the character limit. Below I will introduce 5 services that let you share text, images, videos, code, or formulas anywhere using a short URL. You don’t even have to sign up.

TinyPaste

By far the most popular service is TinyPaste. You can share text, images, videos, or code snippets using a short URL. Each paste can be protected with a password and you can set it to self-delete after 30 minutes to 3 months. If you would like to manage your pastes, i.e. edit or delete them after posting, you have to sign up.
140 character limit

Standard Features:

  • WYSIWYG text editor.
  • insert images, videos, and code snippets.
  • no character limit.
  • set password.
  • set paste to prune / self-delete after 30 minutes to 3 months.
  • receive short URL to share paste.

Login Features:

  • manage pastes.

Tools:

shortText

With shortText you can share up to 30,000 characters, link images and videos, and set a key for private access. The service provides no login option, making it perfectly simplistic. However, it has one key feature that distinguishes it from TinyPaste: you can enable comments.
twitter 140 character limit

Features:

  • BB Code tag / rich text support.
  • link images or videos.
  • 30,000 character limit.
  • allow comments.
  • set key to make text private.
  • receive short URL to share text.

CopyTaste

If you find shortText too simplistic, but like the idea of comments, try CopyTaste. In addition to making your snippets interactive, you can also embed videos and upload photos from your hard drive to create a gallery. Before you can ‘TasteIt’, i.e. submit your post, you are asked to specify whether your snippet is safe for work and select a language. You may also set tags. To manage your posts, you can sign up or log in with your Google, Yahoo, MySpace, Windows Live, Twitter, Facebook, and several other accounts.

Standard Features:

  • WYSIWYG text editor.
  • add URLs.
  • upload photos.
  • share video URL or embed code.
  • allow comments.
  • set password.
  • tag posts.
  • receive short URL to share data.

Login Features:

  • login using Google, Facebook, Twitter, OpenID, or other existing accounts.
  • manage posts.
  • profile page.
  • blog page.
  • inbox.

Tools:

  • Internet Explorer and Firefox Toolbar.

JustPaste.It

With the united features of the above services we should have covered just about anything,  right? Wrong! There is a geeky reason why JustPaste. It made this list: you can enter mathematical formulas using LaTeX. Moreover, you can upload photos, embed videos, import text files from your computer, and export the result to PDF.  Best of all, while you edit your post, it is saved every 3 minutes, so you don’t have to worry about losing anything.

Features:

  • WYSIWYG editor.
  • HTML editor.
  • automatic backup every 3 minutes while editing.
  • upload photos.
  • embed videos.
  • import .doc, .rtf, and .odt files.
  • insert mathematical formulas with LaTeX.
  • export to PDF.
  • create custom page name.
  • receive short URL to share what you pasted.

snip.ly

Finally, here is a highly simplistic tool for occasions when you just want to share a text snippet from a single webpage.
What you do is enter the URL of the page that contains the piece of text you want to share. In the next step snip.ly loads the page and you highlight the respective paragraph. You can also browse through available images to add a thumbnail. To comment your selection you can log in using Twitter or Facebook or email your snip. As with all these services, you receive a short URL. Your snip appears in the foreground of the source page. Closing the snip reveals the underlying page and the snip can be loaded again through the toolbar.
140 character limit

Features:

  • share text from any website.
  • receive a short URL to share snips.

Login Features:

  • log in using Facebook or Twitter.
  • add personal comment.
  • view recent snips.
  • RSS feed for your snips.

Tools:

If you do not suffer from a short attention span, you’re probably still wondering why your text messages are limited to 160 characters. The limit was set in the 1980s, when a team of European engineers invented the short message service (SMS) and defined its standards. Back in the days, bandwidth was very limited, so they had to determine a manageable yet reasonable amount of characters. One fine day in 1985, Friedhelm Hillebrand experimented with random short sentences and questions on his typewriter. Most of his messages turned out to count just under 160 characters – the magic number [Source: Los Angeles Times].
A selection of Twitter-specific services are summarized in Bakari’s article 6 Tools That Allow You To Write Longer Twitter Tweets.

3+ Ways to Customise Your Facebook Profile Picture

new Facebook profiles, a few creative members have taken full advantage of the layout. Said to have started with Alexandre Oudin, a French artist, many have followed suit. Any Photoshop fiends will find it easy to put this look together, transforming their Facebook profile into an interesting collage of images.
That said, there are several apps popping up that have taken the hard work out of it. The only difficulty you’ll find yourself faced with is trying to choose the profile picture you’re going to use. From branded Facebook apps that take care of the entire method step by step, to separate webapps that create the images for you to later upload to Facebook, there are a variety of ways that you can recreate the effect on your own profile.

Schweppes App

Schweppes were quick to stick their brand name on a Facebook app that allows you to upload, tag and share your profile photo directly within the social network.

Upload the photo of your choice to the Schweppes app and resize, rotate and move the image until the final layout is to your liking.

From the app, you can then automatically upload the images to Facebook.

This will create a new album, from which you can then set the first image as your profile picture, and tag yourself in the rest of the photos.

PicScatter

PicScatter takes a similar approach to the Schweppes app, allowing you to upload, scale and move the image, but you can’t rotate it.

Once you’ve uploaded and scaled the image, you can then automatically publish it to Facebook, and like the Schweppes app, an album will automatically be created including all of the images.

PicScatter does have a few nice features that the Schweppes app doesn’t. First, if you’d rather not publish directly to Facebook, you can download the photos in a zip folder from PicScatter and upload them to Facebook yourself. If you do publish to Facebook, it will automatically tag the photos for you.
customize pictures for facebook
It also makes it easy to remove previous “scatters” if you decide to create a new layout, as well as creating an album with 9 photos, as opposed to Schweppes’ 6 photos; allowing your friends and followers to see more of the original image when you first upload it.
PicScatter doesn’t make it very clear, but it seems that you have to like their Facebook Page in order for the application to prompt you to grant it permission to access your profile.
With both the Schweppes app and PicScatter, if your tagged photos aren’t visible to your friends, rather than tag the photos, simply add each of the photos to your profile photos album, but be sure to get them in the right order. If you opt for using the tag method, you will of course have to manually remove the images from the bar each time your friend tag you in a photo, by clicking the little ‘x’ in the corner of the image.

Default Photo

If you’re looking for something a little less elaborate or low key, or if you don’t want to put your own image up as your profile picture, an interesting option is to jazz up Facebook’s default photo. With almost 70 alternatives to the default image from Darth Vader to Pippy Longstockings – there’s something in there for just about everyone.

There are a few other interesting options when it comes to spicing up your Facebook profile, including turning the image into a video with VanityVid, or using cool special effects on your photos courtesy of these 6 sites or even creating a cartoon avatar.

How To Reface Your Facebook Profile Using FB Photo Magic

view-source:http://main.makeuseoflimited.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/00-Facebook-Edit.jpgIt’s said that Alexandre Oudin – a French artist – was the first one who explored the possibilities of creatively “refacing” the new profile page. Since then, many people have come up with their own version of a personalized profile page. As the refacing process required some skills in photo editing and the tenacity to find the perfect arrangement, most of us couldn’t (or wouldn’t) join in the craze. But that was in the past. Today, everything can be done easily in a few steps with the help of an online tool called FB Photo Magic.

Let’s Create Some Magic

If you want to join all the cool kids on Facebook, why don’t you try to reface your own profile page? Go to the FB Photo Magic website and click the “Start” button.
fb photo magic
Click “Choose File” to pick the picture that you want to upload and then click “Upload Photo“. Based on my experiment, it’s advisable to pre-process the photo prior to uploading it. Not only will you get the portion of the image that you want, but you will also get a smaller size compared to the original picture.
facebook photo magic
The first thing that you will notice after the uploading process is the drop down list of “Text lines“. This list asks you to choose one of the numbers according to how many lines there are on your profile page.
facebook photo magic
To get the figure, go to your profile page and count the lines under your name next to your profile picture.

Then you can set the image template. You can resize the box and move it around.  The parts of the picture under the white boxes are the ones that will show up on your profile page. Adjust the boxes’ position so that they will overlay portions of the image that you want to show.

Click the “Save” button at the top right corner of the page, then continue by clicking “Upload to Facebook“.

A confirmation window will open, asking you to allow FB Photo Magic to access your Facebook account.

When everything is done, you’ll see the success message along with quick instructions on how to set everything up.

Completing The Process

Now we are a few steps away before we finish the refacing process. To complete the journey, log into your Facebook account and go to the “Photos” page by clicking on the link in the sidebar under the profile picture. Then open the FB Photo Magic album.
02a FB Photos.jpg
Inside the album, you will see a set of “puzzle” photos that you’ve just created. Click on the last picture to open it. This last picture is the largest picture on the left that will be your profile picture.
02b The Last Picture.jpg
Go to the lower part of the photo page and click on the link “Make Profile Picture“.
facebook photo magic
Then click “Okay” in the confirmation window.
02d Confirm.jpg
And you’re done.
Just for the sake of the experiment, I created another set of profile pictures using my daughter’s photo, activated it, and decided to keep the result (she’s a lot more photogenic than I!)

An Alternative And Few Notes

FB Photo Magic is not the only application that you can use to reface your Facebook profile page. Another alternative that I found is Schweppes Profile App. The working process is similar to FB Photo Magic. However, during my experiment, I was always stuck on the “uploading to Facebook” step. But feel free to try it, maybe you’ll have better luck.
Please note that even though I used FB Photo Magic with several images without any problem, one of the profile images that I got was distorted. So if you get distorted image, you could repeat the process or use alternative images. Use the “Preview” feature before uploading the result to Facebook.
Since the images shown on your profile page are actually images tagged with your name, it’s possible that the set that you created is replaced by more recent set of images also tagged with your name. If this happens, you could hover above the images that you don’t want and click on the “X” to close them. Doing this will not erase the images. You just keep them off your profile page.
I found that refacing my Facebook profile page is fun. You should try it yourself and enjoy the time when your friends beg you to tell them how to do it!
