3 Simple Steps to Grow Your Blog, Build Audience, and Make Money

Starting a blog is one thing, growing your audience and make money are another things that you should focus on, if you really want to build a blogging business. I've simplified the process to 3 strategic steps. Don't underestimate them just because it is a short list.

1. Start the right blog

This is the first milestone that you need to reach. Getting started is hard for some people. They may need to struggle to take the first step.

If you are one of them, do what it takes to get started soon. The momentum you build is very important. Once you take the first step, the second and third step are much easier.

Think about jogging. Once you put on your shoes and get outside, you will be jogging in no time.

And when it comes to starting, you need to get the right blog going. I mean, pick the right niche that you are passionate about. Make sure you enjoy writing about it. It is no where near getting rick quick. There are some work associated with it, so be prepared.

2. Make it a routine

Blogging regularly and promoting your blog should be part of your routine. You can't build a successful blog without doing them.

Nowadays, even if you have superb content, your blog are buried within millions of other blogs. You need to promote it extensively to be noticed.

Most people anticipate the writing, but even with that they don't care to spend some time to write good quality content. That's why you need to start with your best foot in the first step. Going with something you know about can help tremendously so you can speed up the process.

3. Improve your blog

Once you get it going, you will get feedback from your audience. This is critical to get you on the right path. You can't get any feedback unless you start.

Negative feedback is better than no feedback at all. Once you know what the audience doesn't like, you can adjust your strategy and make it right.

Based on the information you gathered, such as through your web stats, you should take action and improve your blog too. Web metrics show you which pages are popular, which keywords your audience uses to find your content and so on.

Once you have a blog that the audience wants and consume regularly, there is no reason you can't grow it to reach more people, build loyal audience and make money from it.
